The Centrify Corporation has announced their partnership with Alfresco to deliver enhanced mobile security using Single Sign-On (SSO) and Active Directory (AD) access controls to customers, allowing them to be able to share, manage and collaborate on content securely, and meet compliance needs.
Via a single Alfresco platform, users are able to allocate any digital content, including social media, multimedia and collaborative files as part of the management of their first-of-its-kind hybrid ECM solution that enables extensive collaboration throughout the organisation, yet also ensures that the right level of security is in place to meet compliance requirements.
Centrify work to make sure that access to any sensitive or confidential data stored within the Alfresco platform, so that the right users have access to the right information across a range of company-approved devices without the need for additional passwords. Using Centrify’s Unified Identify Services across cloud and mobile, there is just one login for users and one unified identity infrastructure for IT, thereby allowing organisations to leverage existing infrastructure to manage authentication, compliance and policy enforcement across cloud and on-premise resources, centrally and securely.
Marc Dubresson, Director of Product Management at Alfresco, said: “We’re excited to partner with Centrify to offer the integrated Centrify for Alresco SSO for customers of all sizes across the world.” He added: “Leveraging the SSO industry standard, SAML, we look forward to working with Centrify to provide a frictionless experience for customers seeking to leverage their AD identities for seamless access to Alfresco in the cloud, on mobile devices, or on-premise.”
