Manufacturers of hyperspectral imagers and spectral instrumentation, Headwall has announced the release of their new Hyperspec III application software that now features a highly powerful hyperspectral data acquisition management tools.
The new enhanced software with its easy-to-use platform is able to control hyperspectral sensors across applications from UAV airborne remote sensing to manned aircraft. Compatible with their award-winning Hyperspec® portfolio of sensors, the new software supports USB and CameraLink interfaces, is Linux- and Windows-based, and is extremely versatile. Being multi-threaded, the Hyperspec III software is able to control sensors simultaneously and has been designed to quickly collect and manage large volumes of incoming hyperspectral data.
As the deployment of UAV platforms continues to grow, Headwall’s latest version of Hyperspec III software provides a comprehensive and efficient end-user environment to obtain remote sensing data using hyperspectral imagers.
David Bannon, CEO of Headwall, said: “Efficient, flexible and powerful software is pushing the science of hyperspectral imaging forward at a very rapid rate. Combining this new software platform with our patented, high-performance optics technology gives the spectral imaging community capabilities they’ve never had before.”
