Ricoh Americas Corp. has announced the launch of their new software designed for managing fleets of MFPs (multifunction products) and laser printers to improve productivity, security, sustainability and mobility, and reduce costs. Ricoh Streamline NX leverages a modular platform that combines print, scan, accounting, device management, authentication and reporting, and it is also highly scalable.
Organisations are able to manage many devices via a single workstation, whilst users’ access to individual MFPs is easy across a wide range of document management tasks, without having to switch between applications.
Jason Dizzine, Director of Technology Marketing at Ricoh, said: “MFPs are important engines for mobilising information in this new world of work. Streamline NX lets organisations take advantage of their MFP-based document management capabilities on a large scale with minimal administrative overhead.”
Streamline NX tracks usage volumes, such as print, copies, colour and duplexing volumes, allowing organisations to monitor use of toner and paper. There are a range of configurations with different modules that enable client desktop printing, mobile printing, one-touch scanning, security print features and a print release station.
Dizzine added: “With Streamline NX, customers can optimise their document processes on fleet-wide, workgroup and individual levels, configuring capabilities, controls, workflows, security profiles and much more.”
