Picturelife, a specialist photo storage organisation, has launched a new photo management, storage and sharing mobile app that will allow users to access the PhotosPicturelife platform’s management and smart discovery features, without the need for an Internet connection or an account login, which is similar to iPhone’s Photos app.
Available in Play Store and App Store and with features including face detection, imaging editing, map-based discovery, smart albums, smart search and timeline views for better image sorting, discovery and sharing, the new app provides users with 8GB of free cloud storage for photos and videos – that is 60% more storage than current available solutions, such as Dropbox and Apple.
Picturelife’s new app prioritises both findability and storability which, with the rise in the number of photos and videos being taken with mobile devices, provides a more productive way of storing and accessing the images. The app auto-organises a user’s photos and videos by date, place, face or a smart album and utilises the company’s auto-syncing service for mobiles, desktops and connected social accounts.
Nate Westheimer, co-founder and CEO of Picturelife, said: “Our mission is to be the smart home for photos, where people have an intelligent and familiar way to store, find, edit and share the photos they love with the people they love.”
