Innovators in cloud-based document management solutions, Document Capture Technologies, has launched a new fax service that allows users to send documents via a tablet, PC or smartphone. Using an Internet connection, SimpleScan turns a desktop scanner or smartphone into a virtual fax machine, sending digitised documents to any fax number, and enabling the smooth integration of content into web-based services and business processes.

The new faxing tool, as well as the recently introduced Prizm Capture invoice processing solution, adds to the cloud-based functionality within SimpleScan Connect’s web service, being able to connect to Box, Dropbox, Certify, Evernote, Google Drive and Expensify. SimpleScan’s mobile applications suitable for Android and iOS are available, free, in Google Play or the AppStore.
