Leading providers of Flash storage arrays for databases, virtual desktop environments and virtualised desktops, Tegile Systems has announced that they have opened in Benelux, and Just Gonggrijp, formerly of Commvault, has joined the team as Regional Director Benelux.
Gonggrijp, whose role is to identify and develop a partnership network in Benelux, said: “I am excited about the opportunity to work with Tegile Systems. Tegile is a company with one of the most advanced technologies in the industry and is at the cutting edge of the Flash and hybrid storage revolution, providing support for all major protocols and standards.” He added: “With its dedication to the channel, Tegile has a great natural fit with the Benelux market and I am looking forward to building the Tegile team and partner network in the region.”
Tegile’s purpose-built intelligent Flash storage arrays have been developed to optimise storage performance for a range of application workloads, making them suitable for mission-critical virtualised environments. The IntelliFlash architecture with inline deduplication and compression enables IT departments to balance high performance, capacity and integrates easily with different IT environments, supporting NAS and SAN deployments from arrays with Fibre Channel and iSCSI block-level protocols, including CIFS and NFS file-level protocols.
Paul Silver, Vice President, EMEA at Tegile Systems, commented: “As the Netherlands is very advanced in the date centre virtualisation space, we are expanding our presence in the region and we are very happy to have Just on board.” He added: “With Just on the ground, we will be able to continue delivering unparalleled performance benefits to our customers in the region.”
