Xerox Announce New Workflow Solutions for Insurance and HR Industries

Xerox, provider of business process services, printing equipment and software solutions, has announced new workflow solutions for the insurance industry and HR departments to help them manage their data-heavy environments and manual workflows, such as employee paperwork, policy and procedures administration and tax forms.

Helping the Insurance Industry Work Better

Xerox’s Workflow Automation Solution for New Business Processing will make the underwriting process easier to navigate through the organisation of business and customer data in to one application.  This will save time on tasks including fact-checking claims information on a weekly basis.  Through the new solution, employees are able to resolve inquiries on first contact, thereby improving customer satisfaction and diverting resources to other work.

With insurance agents having immediate access to a potential customer’s paperwork and data, the onboarding process is quicker and easier for new policyholders.

With Xerox’s new Workflow Automation Solution for Claims Processing integrates with claims handling systems, such as LifePro and the AS400 mainframe systems, allowing companies to store claims information including deductibles and accident history, all within one location.  Insurance investigators and adjusters often based in the field will be able to access documents outside the office.  The solution also integrates with financial services so that payment schedules can be managed, delivering better control over the release of funds.

Simplifying HR Management

Providing HR management with Xerox’s Workflow Automation Solution for File Management delivers a secure platform to store employee data digitally and allowing instant access whether the documents are faxed, emailed or scanned.  The solution flags any missing content within each employee file and automatically sends a request to the employee to retrieve that information.

The Workflow Automation Solution for Policies and Procedures Administration from Xerox creates, digitally distributes and tracks employee acknowledgement of company policies, which is particularly helpful when onboarding new employees as this will relieve the pressure on time-consuming, manual paperwork processes.
