In Xerox’s recent webinar, Xerox announced a range of new services developed to help enterprises assess, protect and leverage their key asset – information. The latest services have been designed to analyse print usage, increase information security, provide an easier and more convenient way for mobile printing, as well as being able to evaluate, simplify and improve document-intensive business process through workflow automation.
Mike Feldman, President of Large Enterprise Operations at Xerox, said: “As an enterprise’s knowledge capital grows – in both paper and electronic form – the challenge of unlocking it increases exponentially. Without proper management, it becomes lost since it lives in so many places and formats.”
Xerox’s enhanced services include:
• Xerox Secure Print Manager Suite which cost-effectively integrates print security, control and reporting capabilities, such as user authentication, secure document release and job tracking, without disrupting existing IT infrastructures.
• Xerox Document Analytics Services that explains how, where and why documents are used, cumulated from multiple resources and revealing printing ‘behaviours’.
• Xerox Workflow Assessment Services that demonstrate how documents move around the organisation, and provides insights into areas where more efficient processes can be created.
Feldman added: “Our three-stage strategy – assess and optimise, secure and integrate, and automate and simplify – continues to evolve with these new offerings. The enhancements help clients manage their information demands more effectively, especially in the area of security and automating document workflows.”
Xerox also announced a free software upgrade on the Xerox WorkCentre® 3325 multifunction printer, and that their Xerox ConnectKey® 1.5 technology-enabled printers and MFPs will soon be certified by the Mopria Alliance.
